Daryl Howard takes us on a journey through her work and its connection to the history of Ukiyo-e – leading an in-depth exploration of the history of Japan’s most influential artform her own artistic journey, from growing up in San Antonio, Texas to her stint as a young art teacher in Tokyo Japan, followed by apprenticeship to Master Hodaka Yoshida. 

The conversation will be held in the NCHM Exhibit Room surrounded by Howard’s exhibition, The Floating World: Texas to Tokyo. The Museum will be open for regular opening hours, 11AM - 4PM. Arrive ahead of the Talk to see the exhibit.

Free parking is available behind the Museum.
