Internships can include, but are not limited to, practical experience in archival work, architecture, community development, historic preservation, history, marketing communications, and administration. By working closely with NCHM staff, students will gain hands-on knowledge and experience in the daily operation of a historic house museum.
NCHM interns receive a stipend and are expected to work a set number of hours per week at the Museum during opening hours, Wed – Sun, 11:00am – 4:00pm. Some of these required working hours may be satisfied doing research onsite or offsite.
