Museums don’t always have to be hands-off!
One Sunday out of the month, the Neill-Cochran House Museum opens its doors to feature hands-on activities, scavenger hunts, self-paced tours, and (weather permitting) lawn games with space to picnic in the shade. Looking for that extra little bit of weekend time to come out and see something new?
Between our spacious lawn and kid-friendly activities, we’re in it to offer a museum experience to folks of all ages and, (ahem!) attention spans. Don’t let the 21st century get you down! Come out and learn something new about how we got to where we are now!
Celebrate the United States of America’s 250th Birthday With Us!
The United States is gearing up for a BIG birthday - our 250th! All this year we will be exploring different parts of American history as we celebrate this milestone. Join us to tie dye in red, white and blue this July, and then come back for all the fun there is to come, from corn husk dolls to letter press printing (like both Ben Franklin and Jacob Fontaine!). There will be something for everyone this year, so come celebrate America with us!
