Sunday Funday: Quilting with Deb Harris

Create your own quilt block!

Sunday, october 11, 2026 | 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM CST

Come and create your own quilt block.  Participants can choose between a dog, mermaid, or merman.  Everyone will receive their own 10 x 10 square of muslin and may select from a wide variety of fabrics and threads where they will learn how to hand sew.  Little ones may design their own quilt block using crayons.

This extra special Sunday Funday will be led by Deb Harris in conjunction with her exhibition “Thoughts in Fiber” currently on view in the NCHM Gallery.

Reservations are not required. Participation in Sunday Funday is free for kids 12 and under with an adult’s Museum admission ($8 seniors/$10 general), and NCHM members are always free. Drop in anytime between 11:00AM and 2:00PM to enjoy the activity. The Museum is open for touring throughout the activity.
