30 Wet Dogs
“The most affectionate creature in the world is a wet dog.” – Ambrose Bierce
on display at the Neill-Cochran House mUseum
january 21, 2026 - may 24, 2026
Saturate yourself in joy. 30 Wet Dogs is a visually stunning celebration of canine charisma at its soggy best. Van Overbeek’s masterful manipulation transforms water into a jeweled setting that makes every diamond droplet tell a story and transforms every damp dog into a hero. From whimsical to profound, this celebration of our best friends is wet, wild, and gloriously alive. – Sarah Bird
The Neill-Cochran House Museum is honored to present 30 Wet Dogs, photographs by Will van Overbeek. The pure goofiness of dogs frolicking in “Barking Springs” will make you laugh out oud and tug at your heartstrings, vivid colors and textures of fur and sparkling water will delight your eyes.
In addition to displaying van Overbeek’s printed works, the Neill-Cochran House Museum will present a series of events to engage the Austin community in the spring of 2026, including an opening reception, an artist talk, and an artist workshop. The Neill-Cochran House Museum is seeking sponsorships to help bring 30 Wet Dogs to our Central Texas audience.
