The Neill-Cochran House Museum presents the paintings, prints, and sculpture of Rhea Rose during a two-week “pop-up” exhibition of her evocative artwork.
Rose is a Central Texas-based portrait artist, muralist, and art instructor who has dabbled in face and body painting, graphic design, sign painting, woodworking and jewelry making. Her paintings are a fusion of abstraction and realism that tells the story of strength and resilience through portraiture.

About the artist
Rhea Rose is a Central Texas portrait artist, muralist, and art instructor who has dabbled in face and body painting, graphic design, sign painting, woodworking and jewelry making. Born in Los Angeles, Rose has a degree in Commercial Arts from Central Texas College. In 2001 she established Phoenix Art Studio.
Rose has used her platform as an artist to support causes like the Combat Warrior Crisis Network, the Texas Design Network, the Hope Alliance Crisis Network, the Joyful Inspiration Domestic Violence Support Organization, and Impact Outreach. In 2006, she was awarded the ESGR Patriotic Employer Award.
