Lamp table, c. 1850-1870

Victorian Renaissance Revival walnut lamp table features a round top with a raised lip on a narrow turned pedestal with a turned decorative roundel at the base above the tripod base. Pieces from the Renaissance-Revival period use turned ornament and other geometric motifs instead of the flowery scrolls of the Rococo-Revival period. Gift of Mrs. Ernest Groos.
