The Hidden Room Theater joins us to present:
The Hidden Room Salon Series at the Neill-Cochran House Museum
Three Thursday evenings in August: 8/1, 8, and 15 – 6pm to 8pm
The Neill Family’s parties inspired articles in the Austin American as late as forty years afterwards. This summer, with the award-winning expertise of the Hidden Room Theatre and three special guest scholars, we’ll rekindle some of that Victorian Era entertaining magic as we explore the culture and arts of the time–with libations and good company, that is.
On the menu are spiritualism, the American take on Shakespeare, and last but not least, parlor games (audience participation especially encouraged).
$15 general, $12 students & seniors, $10 friends of the NCHM or $30 for a three-evening pass is your ticket to the past.
