History One Moment at a Time

Modern Times at the Neill-Cochran House Museum returns for its 12th season spanning the end of the Post-War Era and the beginning of the sweeping changes of the 1960s. We open our season with two unique perspectives on the assassination of President Kennedy in 1963 and move through the early history of the tech sector’s impact on this state with presentations on the invention of the integrated circuit and the presence of NASA in Houston. Finally, we turn our gaze locally to the controversy surrounding the Westgate apartments and the Capitol view corridor.
