Museums don’t always have to be hands-off!
Every Second Sunday (sometimes a First Sunday) of the month all year round, the Neill-Cochran House Museum opens its doors to feature free hands-on activities, scavenger hunts, self-paced tours, and (weather permitting) lawn games with space to picnic in the shade.
Looking for that extra little bit of weekend time to come out and see something new? Between our spacious lawn and kid-friendly activities, we’re in it to offer a museum experience to folks of all ages and, (ahem!) attention spans. Don’t let the 21st century get you down! Come out and learn something new about how we got to where we are now!
History Lab is where science, technology, arts, and history meet. Chances are good that you’ve seen a change in technology change the way you live your life. This is your chance to step back in time and re-discover some of the innovations that have shaped our world.
History Lab is taking Summer vacation! Our regularly scheduled programs will be back in September, but stay on the lookout for pop-up workshops throughout the summer while we try out some new ideas.
Together we’ll invent and perfect:
“But where do I park?” you ask? Museum parking is located behind the house, and the driveway is on 23rd street between Leon and San Gabriel. When the lot is full, we recommend the garage at University Towers at 23rd and Pearl.
